Description: The American Safety and Health Institute (ASHI) Wilderness First Aid course is a 16-hour course that teaches students how to assess and treat injuries and illnesses in a wilderness seeing. Students will learn how to recognize a life-threatening emergency, how to provide basic first aid, and how to evacuate an injured person from a remote location. Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a certification from the American Safety and Health Institute. This certification is valid for two years.
